1895 $5 MS65 NGC. This lustrous and highly appealing apricot-gold example shows a hint of frost in the fields and on the boldly impressed devices. The portrait is clean, though a mark and scattered luster grazes are present in the fields. Still, these flaws are minor and entirely appropriate for the Gem designation. NGC has graded only eight finer pieces (8/07).(Registry values: P2)
