1898 Five Dollar Liberty, MS65+
Notable Quality for the Grade
1898 $5 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The 1898 Liberty half eagle is a
condition rarity in the native MS65 grade, but this coin is further
distinguished by the Plus designation and CAC green label.
Well-struck motifs complement frosty wheat-gold mint luster, while
only a few small marks are seen under a loupe on the obverse. A
suitable type coin. Population: 16 in 65 (4 in 65+), 6 finer. CAC:
