Very Rare Any Finer
1901-S $5 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The 1901-S Liberty half eagle
claims a huge mintage of 3.6 million pieces, and the issue is
readily available in grades up to the Gem level. Premium Gems are
very scarce and finer examples are conditionally very rare. This
high-end Premium Gem is well-detailed, with vibrant mint luster and
outstanding eye appeal. Population: 50 in 66 (2 in 66+), 2 finer
