Spectacular MS66 1902-S Half Eagle
1902-S $5 MS66 PCGS. A simply spectacular presentation, this luscious Premium Gem has everything going for it: The satiny luster is unbroken, front and back, with beautiful honey-gold color accented by glints of copper-gold and hazel on the reverse. Only minuscule evidence of contact can be seen under a loupe, and the strike is well executed, save for peripheral softness on the obverse stars. PCGS has graded 16 in MS66, with four coins finer (9/06).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25YZ, PCGS# 8406, Greysheet# 9103)
