Description
1903-S Half Eagle, MS66+
Outstanding Appeal, Frosted Surfaces
1903-S $5 MS66+ PCGS. PCGS has not seen a finer example of
this common-date half eagle, which is always a favorite issue for
its ready availability. This example is extremely frosty, with
wall-to-wall mint frost covering the fields and devices. Strong
underlying luster illuminates a full strike and unmarked surfaces
for excellent eye appeal. It would be difficult to improve on this
coin for as a selection for half eagle type. Population: 18 in 66
