Description
1903-S Half Eagle, Exceptional MS66
Lustrous and Frosty, Green Label Holder
1903-S $5 MS66 PCGS. The smooth surfaces are alive with
frosty luster and Liberty's portrait is essentially mark-free,
while the strike is needle-sharp as often seen on the popular San
Francisco issue. While a few other dates are also suitable
candidates for high-end type, it will be difficult to improve on
this radiantly lustrous 1903-S for eye appeal and surface quality.
PCGS shows no numerically finer examples. Housed in a green label
holder. Population: 20 in 66 (2 in 66+), 0 finer (7/16).From The Twelve Oaks Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25Z3, PCGS# 8408, Greysheet# 9104)
