1906 $5 MS66 PCGS. While not a great rarity, the 1906 half eagle is often overlooked for its scarcity in high grades. This lustrous and smooth, honey-gold Premium Gem example will outshine many other representatives of 20th century gold. The strike is equally impressive, with every star sharply defined and the reverse motifs fully brought up. PCGS reports only a few finer examples.
