Satiny Gem 1906-D Half Eagle
1906-D $5 MS65 PCGS. This satiny tan-gold Gem has a smooth appearance, and is well struck save for slight blending on the eagle's neck and right (facing) claw. The introductory Denver Mint issue, with a relatively low production of 320,000 pieces. Population: 26 in 65, 1 finer (2/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25ZA, PCGS# 8414, Greysheet# 9107)
