1907 Liberty Half Eagle, MS66
Repunched Date, Breen-6798
1907 $5 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Breen-6798. The date was initially
entered with a moderately upward slant, then corrected. Evidence of
the initial logotype impression is above the top of the 7, and
below the base of the 1. The present lustrous Premium Gem has
sun-gold centers bounded by broad jade-green borders. The strike is
intricate and the preservation is exceptional.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25ZC, PCGS# 8416, Greysheet# 8953)
