Impressive Premium Gem 1907-D Half Eagle
1907-D $5 MS66 NGC. In its second year of operation as the Denver Mint, that facility nearly tripled the previous year's production of half eagles, striking 888,000 pieces of the denomination. This Premium Gem is among the best-preserved survivors of the issue, strongly struck with rich butter-yellow luster that shows undercurrents of orange.
