1907-D Half Eagle, MS66
Sharply Canted Mintmark
1907-D $5 MS66 PCGS. The mintmark on this second-year Denver
Mint Liberty half eagle is tilted sharply to the left. Just two
Denver Mint Liberty half eagles were produced, in 1906 and 1907.
Denver Mint type collectors may choose either issue as they are
both plentiful, except in the highest grades, such as this Premium
Gem that has brilliant, satiny yellow-gold luster and trivial,
grade consistent marks. Population: 22 in 66 (5 in 66+), 1 finer
(4/20).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25ZD, PCGS# 8417, Greysheet# 9109)
