1908 $5 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The 1908 issue brought an end to the Liberty half eagle series that began in 1840, with the Indian Head design introduced later in the year. Yellow and green-gold shades prevail on this Plus-graded Premium Gem representative. The piece exhibits a sharp strike and minimally marked surfaces. Population: 51 in 66 (2 in 66+), 9 finer.
