Attractive Original Surfaces
1854-C $5 AU50 PCGS. CAC. Variety 1. Bold Mintmark. A
delightful piece with choice original surfaces, showing a base of
deep olive- and orange-gold patina with beautiful violet, blue, and
green highlights in the reverse fields. Slight strike softness
occurs on Liberty's hair curls at the brow, but wear is light, and
there are no significant abrasions. Population: 12 in 50, 38 finer.
