    1891-CC $5 MS63 PCGS. Variety 1-A. Radiant orange-gold luster gleams from this crisply struck and minimally abraded half eagle. Although the 1891-CC is one of the more available gold issues from the Carson City mint, most of these pieces are seen in About Uncirculated or bagmarked, lower-grade Uncirculated condition. Select Carson City gold coins of any date or denomination are highly coveted by those assembling quality type sets from the legendary Nevada Mint.
