Description

1883 5C With Cents MS66 PCGS. Eye-catching cartwheel luster graces both sides of this carefully preserved Premium Gem. Wafts of lemon color accent the light-gray patina, and the strike is sharp save for minimal weakness on a couple of stars. Several pronounced die cracks are noted around the perimeter of the obverse, with a particularly noteworthy one through the date. PCGS has certified just one piece finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)
