Borderline Uncirculated 1885 Nickel
1885 5C AU58 NGC. The hair under the B in LIBERTY shows a trace of wear, but ample luster shimmers across the chestnut-gray surfaces. Neither side has apparent abrasions, and the strike is precise, especially on the left ear of corn. A series key due to a low mintage and an absence of contemporary collectors.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2773, PCGS# 3846, GSID# 2950)
