Description
1886 5C MS62 NGC. One of the key dates to the Liberty Head nickel series. The nickel-gray surfaces of this piece display occasional traces of deeper gray and tan. Generally well struck save for softness left of the bow knot. Moderate planchet laminations are visible on the left obverse rim, and verdigris is seen on the reverse edge at 9:00.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22PK, PCGS# 3847, GSID# 2951)
