1894 5C MS66 NGC. Pleasing cartwheel luster sweeps unencumbered across the dove-gray and tan-gold surfaces. The strike is crisp aside from the left ear of corn and a pair of stars near the coronet tip. A faint mark is noted near the jaw. The 1894 is a low mintage issue; only the 1885, 1886, and 1912-S keys have lesser productions. Census: 18 in 66, 2 finer (6/10).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2006), lot 1333.(Registry values: N1793)
