Description

1910 Liberty Nickel, MS66
Splendid Registry Set Candidate

1910 5C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Liberty nickel production eclipsed 30 million coins for only the fourth time in 1910, making this an available date in the series. Still, the PCGS Population Report shows relatively few examples in MS65 and MS66 condition compared to most other issues. This splendid Premium Gem exhibits pale-violet patination overall with peach-gold accents throughout. Vibrant mint frost illuminates the well-struck surfaces. Light chatter on Liberty's neck likely prohibits an even higher grade. Population: 20 in 66 (3 in 66+), 1 finer (2/15).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 277L, PCGS# 3871, Greysheet# 2975)
