1887 Nickel, Top-Grade MS67
A Registry Set Essential
1887 5C MS67 PCGS. Ex: Rafferty. The 188 in the date are
faintly recut on this piece, a well-struck Superb Gem that is tied
at the top of the Condition Census with three other MS67 PCGS coins
(1/20). A delicate blush of champagne-lavender toning graces the
frosty surfaces, and no distracting abrasions are seen. We have
previously handled both of the other top-grade pieces, which
