1888 Liberty Nickel, MS66+
Tied for Second Finest Certified
1888 5C MS66+ PCGS. An impressive Premium Gem, this lovely
Liberty nickel features frosty gray luster and dappled gold toning
to enhance the eye appeal. A typical strike shows weakness on the
lower-left portion of the wreath, with the ear of corn expectedly
flat. However, this is an outstanding example for a high grade
Registry collection of Liberty nickels. Population: 27 in 66 (3 in
66+), 3 finer (1/20).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 10/2016), lot 3046.
