    1907 Nickel, MS67
    Sole Finest CAC Example
    Tied for Finest Certified

1907 5C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Although typically considered a common date, the 1907 Liberty nickel is a significant condition rarity in the upper reaches of Mint State. Both date and type collectors will find much to admire in this piece. It is one of only three coins to achieve a grade of MS67, with none finer, and of those three it is the only one that carries CAC endorsement. For the Registry collector, this piece can be considered the finest-known 1907 Liberty nickel. Luster is frosty and seemingly flawless, bathed in warm champagne, lavender, and powder-blue hues. The typical strike softness is seen on the corn ear to the left of the wreath bow, but elsewhere the devices are sharply detailed. Population: 3 in 67, 0 finer. CAC: 1 in 67, 0 finer (1/20).
