Description

1841-C Two and a Half, XF45
Low-Mintage Charlotte Issue

1841-C $2 1/2 XF45 PCGS. Variety 1. Scarce in all grades, this Charlotte issue is challenging to find in Choice XF condition. This attractive example retains considerable mint luster over the flashy, minimally abraded surfaces. The 1841-C received only a moderately good strike, suggesting actual wear on this coin is less than seen at first glance. Eye appeal is excellent. Population: 23 in 45, 42 finer (7/23).
