1842-D $2 1/2 VF20 NGC. Variety 3-F, the only known variety. The 1842-D is a rare D-mint with only 75-85 pieces known in all grades. The devices are evenly worn over the high points on each side, and the bright surfaces show numerous small to medium-sized abrasions.From The Lucy Llewellyn Collection of Southern Gold.(Registry values: P2)
