1843 $2 1/2 AU58 NGC. Well struck with light greenish color and glints of golden luster remaining near the borders. Wispy hairlines are observed in the fields, and a pinscratch is noted just behind Liberty's hair bun that passes between obverse stars 10 and 11, and almost to the rim. Extremely scarce in Mint State. Census: 53 in 58, 19 finer (7/08). (Registry values: P2)
