Small D 1843-D Two and a Half, AU58
1843-D $2 1/2 Small D AU58 NGC. Variety 4-D. A band of bright luster fills the peripheries, and both sides are surprisingly free from detrimental marks. The strike is impressive for the remote Dahlonega branch mint, and wear is generally limited to the eyebrow and the hair above the ear.
