    Description

1844-C $2 1/2 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. Variety 1. From a mintage of 11,622 pieces, the 1844-C Liberty quarter eagle is a scarce issue in all grades. The slightly granular, lightly marked yellow-gold surfaces of this specimen show light wear on the design elements and an unnatural sheen from the noted cleaning.
