Sharply Struck 1847 Quarter Eagle, MS62

1847 $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. CAC. This sharply struck representative has ample luster, and the only consequential abrasion is a thin vertical mark near the cheekbone. Although the 1847 half eagle and eagle are common high-mintage issues, the same cannot be said for the quarter eagle, of which only 29,814 were struck. Population: 4 in 62, 1 finer (12/11).
