Pleasing 1847-D Quarter Eagle, XF40
1847-D $2 1/2 XF40 PCGS. Variety 9-M, the only known die marriage for the issue. This pleasing green-gold representative has considerable luster remaining for the Extremely Fine level. Both sides have a few minor surface marks that are consistent with the grade. An attractive example in typical quality for the date.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25H7, PCGS# 7746, GSID# 8356)
