1848-D $2 1/2 AU58 PCGS. Variety 10-M. Light yellow-gold fields have strong, almost flashy luster. The striking quality is excellent, and only the barest trace of friction affects the high points. A long, thin scrape at the central obverse influences the grade. Population: 28 in 58, 19 finer (2/10).
