    1850-D $2 1/2 XF45 NGC. Variety 13-M. A bright straw-gold example with noticeable remaining luster and no relevant marks. Liberty's hair and the eagle's wings are relatively bold. The 1850-D is a typically difficult Dahlonega quarter eagle issue, since just 12,148 pieces were struck.
