1852-C $2 1/2 AU55 NGC. Variety 1. Glints of luster emerge from this Choice AU straw-gold Charlotte Mint two and a half. An above average strike for the North Carolina facility, and the bright surfaces are devoid of apparent marks. Struck from clashed dies. Census: 20 in 55, 34 finer (6/09).From The R.M.
