1852-C $2 1/2 AU55 NGC. Variety 14-I. A scarce low mintage issue of only 9,772 pieces. This minimally worn example displays light greenish coloration and satiny surfaces that show very few marks of any kind. As usual, the central details are rather indistinct, especially on the eagle. Census: 18 in 55, 30 finer (8/07). (Registry values: P2)
