Rare 1852-C Quarter Eagle, MS60
1852-C $2 1/2 MS60 NGC. Variety 14-I. Most of the known 1852-C quarter eagles are in the Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated grade levels. Mint State examples are very rare, and extant specimens are in the low end of the Uncirculated scale. Semiprooflike fields of this brassy-gold coin highlight the well struck design elements.
