1854-C $2 1/2 --Reverse Damage--NCS. AU Details. Variety 1. This orange-gold representative once resided in a green label XF40 PCGS holder, as confirmed by its attendant insert. The "damage" referred to by NCS is on the reverse near 12 o'clock, and consists of a small rim ding and a minor nearby depression. Only 7,295 pieces were struck for this elusive Charlotte date.From The R.M. Phillips Limited Partnership Collection.(Registry values: P2)
