1855 $2 1/2 MS63 NGC. The 1855 quarter eagle is more difficult than most P-mint issues from the 1850s, and it is seldom seen in Mint State condition. This piece is sharply struck save for a little weakness on the hair curls and the eagle's left (facing) claw, as typically seen. A lustrous and remarkably clean representative.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25J4, PCGS# 7774, GSID# 8277)
