1856 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. Despite slight central weakness, this Gem is an amazing example, one of the finest survivors from a substantial mintage of 384,240 coins. Both sides are pristine with frosty deep yellow luster and splashes of lighter yellowish-orange toning. It is truly an extraordinary coin. Population: 5 in 65, 4 finer (9/09).(Registry values: P2)
