1859-S $2 1/2 XF45 PCGS. An attractive San Francisco Mint quarter eagle surviving from a mintage of only 15,200 coins. Most pieces entered circulation and stayed in commerce for a long time, receiving considerable wear. This example is better than most, with considerable luster for the grade.
