Pyrite-Gold Luster

1862 $2 1/2 AU58 PCGS. The piece displays pyrite-gold luster with hints of orange notes as well as some grime which rests on the foot of the L in Liberty. While there are some light abrasions, none are bothersome, and a few reverse clash marks (as struck) are as expected for the issue. This well-struck example will while just shy of Mint State is a visually enrapturing piece. PCGS Population: 41 in 58 (1 in 58+), 52 finer (4/26).
