1869-S $2 1/2 XF45 ICG. A scarce date quarter eagle with pale tan toning and a solitary faint mark beneath the hair bun. Luster clings to protected areas, and only the shield center and eagle's neck shows evidence of strike inexactness.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25KE, PCGS# 7810, Greysheet# 8398)
