Attractive Eye Appeal
1873 $2 1/2 Closed 3 MS65+ NGC. The 1873 Closed 3 Quarter
Eagle is considerably more scarce than the Open 3 variety of the
same year, especially in high grades. This lovely specimen is
yellow gold with orange overtones for an attractive appearance. A
light contact mark on the chin of the portrait is noted for
accuracy, although the overall surface quality is excellent.
Intense frosty luster radiates throughout the fields and devices of
this charming coin. Fully struck with crisp device definition. NGC
