1873 $2 1/2 Open 3 MS65 PCGS. This penetratingly struck representative has original dusky orange-gold toning and vibrant cartwheel sheen. Well preserved despite a pair of minor marks above the portrait. The Open 3 variety comprises about 70% of the issue, although early deliveries were Closed 3. Encapsulated in an old green label holder. Population: 10 in 65, 1 finer (8/08).(Registry values: P2)
