Only 400 Pieces Struck
1875 $2 1/2 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. The 1875
quarter eagle boasts a trivial mintage of only 400 pieces, ranking
it among the scarcest dates in the series. PCGS estimates a
survivorship of only 40 to 50 pieces in all grades. This AU-level
piece displays bright brass-gold surfaces with hairlines and
abrasions from heavy cleaning, although a sharp strike and minimal
wear provides pleasing visual appeal.(Registry values: P2)
