Uncirculated 1876-S Two and a Half
1876-S $2 1/2 MS61 NGC. A tiny mintage of just 5,000 coins was recorded in San Francisco throughout the year, the second lowest quarter eagle production for the entire series from that Mint. Luster dominates the borders and devices. A few minor marks are consistent with the grade. Census: 20 in 61, 6 finer (11/09).From The Cherokee County Collection, Part One.(Registry values: P2)
