1886 $2 1/2 MS63 PCGS. The 1886 Liberty Head quarter eagle had a tiny mintage of only 4,000 circulation strikes. Most survivors are either lightly circulated, or in the lower reaches of Mint State, usually MS60 or MS61. This Select piece boasts excellent eye appeal through its orange-gold, attractive surfaces, crisp strike, and relative paucity of contact marks.(Registry values: P2)
