Description
Magnificent 1893 Quarter Eagle, Premium Gem
1893 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. Although the 1893 quarter eagle's mintage of 30,000 pieces is a sharp increase from previous years, it is still quite low compared to other denominations. This remarkable specimen is one of the finest certified and would be an excellent piece for a connoisseur. Lovely lemon-yellow patina covers both sides of this satiny Premium Gem. A couple of pinpoint handling marks keep this piece from an even higher grade. Fully struck with outstanding eye appeal.
