1895 Quarter Eagle, MS66 ★ NGC
1895 $2 1/2 MS66 ★ NGC. Intricately detailed yellow-gold surfaces with subtle pale green accents over both sides. The central devices are heavily frosted and the only mentionable blemishes are a couple of microscopic contact marks on Liberty's cheek. Several hundred Mint State examples are believed to be extant of this issue, but the quantity of Gems is scant.
