Extraordinary 1898 Quarter Eagle, Superb Gem

1898 $2 1/2 MS67 NGC. One of just 24,000 pieces struck. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified any examples finer this impeccably preserved Superb Gem (8/08). Dazzling satiny luster shimmers beneath the yellow-gold patina. The obverse is essentially flawless, while the reverse has only a couple of tiny marks. An outstanding, fully struck representative.
