Description
Prooflike Gem 1905 Two and a Half
1905 $2 1/2 MS65 Prooflike NGC. According to the (9/09) NGC Census Report, the present piece is the only example certified as either Prooflike or Deep Mirror Prooflike. With the exception of the 1900, NGC has designated at least one Prooflike piece for all dates between 1889 and 1906. The present piece would be the stopper to such an ambitious collection. Needle-sharp, flashy, and undisturbed.Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 11/2006), lot 1986, which realized $2,875.
