Description

1905 Quarter Eagle, MS67
A Splendidly Preserved Type Coin

1905 $2 1/2 MS67 NGC. Apparently the demands of circulation were minimal in 1905 as numerous examples of this date are known in Uncirculated grades. However, as with most coins, the number of Superb examples is far fewer than the number of collectors who desire to own such a piece. This extraordinary example has the usual soft mint frost and is strongly struck throughout. The only mark of note is a tiny speck of grease that was struck into the coin at the time of production, located just above the eagle's right (facing) wing.(Registry values: N2998)
